Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Rise ("the Service"), operated by Rise ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Rise is an AI-powered productivity dashboard that connects to your Google accounts (Gmail and Calendar) to provide highlights, summaries, draft replies, and scheduling insights. The Service requires you to authorize access to your Google data.

3. Accounts & Access

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You may connect multiple Google accounts. You represent that you have authority to grant access to each account you connect.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Permitted Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use the Service to send spam or unauthorized communications through connected accounts.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate highlights, summaries, draft replies, and other content. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes and may contain errors. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving any actions taken based on AI-generated content, including sending emails or modifying calendar events.

6. Google API Services

Rise's use of Google API data is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only access Google data necessary to provide the Service's core functionality.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Rise and protected by intellectual property laws. Your data remains yours — we claim no ownership of content from your Google accounts.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting your accounts and deleting your profile. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or for any reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
